European Adventures in Local Food

la trattoriaYou heard right folks. Food Less Traveled is headed to Europe, where we will cover locally sourced food and agriculture, traditional recipes, farmer’s markets, restaurants, and much more!

First stop on this adventure is Ireland. Keep your eyes peeled for what I feel will be a particularly interesting article on Roaring Waters Sea Vegetable Farm in west Cork. Ireland has a tradition of harvesting and eating seaweed (who knew!) and I am fortunate enough to get to learn this time honored practice. Check out their website here: http://www.roaringwaterseavegetable.ie/

If you have anywhere in Ireland that you think I absolutely have to check out please post it here! All the research in the world has nothing on word of mouth.

Any-who, cheers folks, and I promise I won’t drink too much Guinness!
